After a COVID hiatus of nearly three years, the West County Winds, a symphonic wind & percussion ensemble, Geoffrey Gallegos, Music Director & Conductor, is very pleased to present their first in-person live concert entitled Form & Design.
Exploring many compositional forms that composers use to construct the architectural structure of their works, the concert will primarily feature the music of contemporary American wind ensemble composers including Frank Ticheli, Jerry Bilik, Robert Sheldon, James Curnow and Roger Cichy. The program will open with the Prelude and Fugue in D minor of J.S. Bach.
