SAN JOSE, CA: Founded in 1967, the San Jose Metropolitan Band (SJMB) has provided 50 years of community service to the Santa Clara Valley. Originally under the auspices of the San Jose Metropolitan Adult Education Program (MAEP), the Band now operates independently as a non-profit public benefit corporation.

Welcome to the San Jose Metropolitan Band. We are a contemporary concert band, and we give performances throughout the Santa Clara Valley of California, playing a mix of symphonic classics, showtunes, big band, contemporary works, marches, seasonal music, and more.
Where to hear them:
In concert several times a year: 4th of July Parade, Christmas Concert, Fall and Spring Concerts all over the South Bay Area
