What they do best:

Sponsored by the Department of Music, the UCB Summer Chorus is a fully student-run ensemble that rehearses between June through August, and gives a public performance in August in Hertz Hall. The UC Berkeley Summer Chorus is comprised of students from the university and members of the Berkeley and Bay Area community. The UC Berkeley Summer Chorus is led by a student conductor and accompanist. The experience provides a valuable learning opportunity for the student conductor and accompanist, giving them first-hand experience in preparing a concert program, rehearsing a chorus, and working with the administrative staff. In turn, the choristers have a chance to provide feedback while learning how to adapt to different conductors and styles, and increasing their knowledge of vocal technique and musicianship. https://sites.google.com/view/ucb-summer-chorus/home
