The Young Women’s Choral Projects of San Francisco is a world-class choral organization for girls and young women ages 4-18, which empowers them to achieve artistic and personal excellence.

YWCP offers four choir levels—Prelude Chorus, Allegro Chorus, Vivo Chorus and the Young Women’s Chorus.

YWCP's Young Women's Chorus Seeking Girls Who Love to Sing, Grades 7-12

Do you know a young woman in grades 7-12 who loves to sing? The Young Women's Choral Projects of San Francisco is holding auditions for our Young Women’s Chorus! Auditions will be held on Saturday May 14 & Sunday June 5 for the 2016-2017 seasons. YWC meets on Wednesday night from 6:30-9pm and Sundays from 3-6 pm and is focused on creating an exciting and interactive community. Here young women learn more challenging and advanced vocal techniques, sight-reading, and performance skills through the Kodály teaching method.

YWCP's Allegro Chorus Seeking Girls Who Love to Sing, Grades 5-10

Do you know a girl in grades 5-10 who loves to sing? The Young Women's Choral Projects of San Francisco is holding auditions for our Allegro Chorus! Young Women's Chorus seeking singers 12-18

The Young Women’s Chorus is YWCP’s premiere performing ensemble and is comprised of singers who exhibit excellent vocal technique and exceptional musicianship skills. YWC sings challenging choral music for women’s voices, emphasizing classical compositions from all eras, and including world music, jazz and Broadway selections. All members of YWC take voice lessons from a professional voice teacher in small classes every other week. Led by Artistic Director, Dr.

Allegro Chorus seeking singers 10-15

Through a Kodály music curriculum, choristers learn more advanced sight-reading, treble clef note names and basic rhythms, as well as a free vocal production music theory, ear training, vocal technique, and performance skills. They learn to sing in two-, three- and four-part harmony with repertoire in many styles and languages. This ensemble begins advanced level repertoire and performs 4-6 times a year and meets twice a week, Wednesdays and Sundays from 4 – 6pm.
