Northern California Music & Art Culture Center Chamber Music

The class operates in a professional, friendly, and fun environment with individualized approach to each student and input from both the conductor and players. Focus is on the essentials of ensemble playing, such as rhythm, pitch, sight-reading, group dynamics, blending with others, and polished performances. The musical arrangements for intermediate string orchestra expose the players to a variety of styles. Baroque, romantic, classical, pop and even twentieth century arrangements are read, rehearsed and performed with public performance opportunities available every semester.

New Mozart School of Music Suzuki Violin Group Class

Our violin instructors are experienced solo, chamber, and orchestral musicians and teachers. Whether you are a complete beginner or advanced violinist, our teachers can meet your learning needs. Napa Valley Youth Symphony Sinfonia

Sinfonia, led by Yasushi Ogura, is a string orchestra designed to give entry-level students experience in an ensemble setting while developing technical and performance skills. It serves as a foundation for musical growth in the orchestral tradition. Sinfonia is appropriate for students who are comfortable playing in first position and are performing in Suzuki Book 2-5, or the equivalent.

Napa Valley Youth Symphony Youth Symphony

Representing over 27 schools from within and beyond the Napa Valley, the Napa Valley Youth Symphony is a full symphonic orchestra led by Ming Luke which provides professional musical training for the 50+ students involved in the program. Dedicated to performing the great masterworks of classical composers of the present and past centuries, the Youth Symphony performs three major concerts each year. An integral part of any young musician's training, the chamber music program will be available to any student in the Youth Symphony.

Our creative teaching methods help students of all ages enjoy their classes, excel at home practice, and perform with joy and confidence! We offer every style of lessons from classical to jazz and pop. As we have many teachers on staff we are able to match students with a teacher that works best with their particular age, ability and interest.

Music@Menlo Chamber International Program

The International Program offers a select number of outstanding and highly motivated musicians a multitude of opportunities to develop their technical and interpretive skills under the tutelage of world-class chamber music coaches and educators. The International Program involves a rigorous schedule of rehearsals, coachings, and master classes, culminating in multiple performance opportunities, and also includes collaborations with leading musicologists in the presentation of the festival’s Encounter series.

Music@Menlo Chamber Music Institute

The Young Performers Program is designed for advanced young musicians seeking to develop their musicianship through intensive training with a faculty of experienced musicians. Students joining the Young Performers Program are grouped into ensembles with their colleagues according to level of playing and experience. A daily schedule of ensemble rehearsals, workshops, and coachings with the artist-faculty culminates in public performance opportunities.
