Violinists Wanted!

Symphony Parnassus is an advanced-level community orchestra based in San Francisco. The orchestra rehearses Monday evenings at SFSU from 7:30-10pm. Our season runs mid-September to early June. Performances take place four times a year at the Taube Atrium Theater in the Wilsey Center for Opera or the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Repertoire ranges from Beethoven to Shostakovich with occasional commissioned new works by local composers.

Principal Bass

We rehearse at the Mt. Tamalpais Methodist Church in Mill Valley, 7 – 9:30, Wednesday nights beginning Sept, 10th.
Performances are the evening of November 7th, daytimes November 8th and 9th in Mill Valley and San Rafael.

Russian Festival
Rimsky-Korsakov’s Russian Easter Festival Overture, Glazunov's Saxophone Concerto, Balakirev’s In Bohemia, and Prokofiev’s Lieutenant Kijé Suite.

Percussionists for Mill Valley Philharmonic

Mill Valley Philharmonic has two percussion positions open for our spring set. These are both volunteer positions.

Rehearsals are in Mill Valley every Wednesday evening, beginning April 9th, and run through to performances, May 30th, 31st and June 1st.

This concert series is entitled Cathedral/Temple Architecture and includes Respighi's Church Windows and a world premiere.
