The Intermediate Choir continues with the basics in the girls' musical development. Like the Preparatory Choir, there is not an emphasis on frequent performances. Students take this course for one to two years before advancing to another level.
The Preparatory Choir lays the foundation for successful progress and development as a singer in DGC. The emphasis for this chorus is on proper use of the vocal instrument through games, folk songs and rhythmic activities. Frequent performances are not a component of this class.

The concert group is a performance-oriented group of about 240 students in four divisions: Concert Choir, Youth Choir, Young Men, and Young Women. Students must be at least in 6th grade and possess music literacy. In addition to yearly concert tours within the United States and abroad, there is mandatory attendance at an annual Music Camp every August. Two rehearsals weekly are required for Concert Choir members.
