Trio Garufa returns to the Berkeley City Club for another evening of live music! This is a milonga (Argentine tango social dance). We welcome dancers and listeners of all ages. DJ Robert Hammond plays golden-era tango music beginning at 7:00 pm; the Trio's live sets begin at 7:45 and 9:15 pm.
Trio Garufa is an international ensemble dedicated to performing authentic Argentine music. Based in the Bay Area, the group has also performed in Argentina, Colombia, Europe, Canada, and many cities in the US. Trio Garufa's repertoire includes classic Argentine tangos from the golden era as well as Argentine Folklore music, modern tangos by Piazzola, electro-tangos and original compositions. The Trio has long been a favorite of Bay Area dancers.

There is no dance class on this date, but you can join us for class on other Wednesdays.

No parking in the Berkeley City Club lot; please park on the street or use another lot. We are a 10-minute walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART. When arriving at the club, ring the bell and say "tango!"
