The Alexander String Quartet visits the Mondavi Center with Schubert quartets on the bill. The Alexanders are a superb, long-standing group which doesn’t get enough credit for their fine music-making. Their appearances with local music historian (and composer) Robert Greenberg have been wildly successful. Here’s a chance to hear them by themselves playing some of the most beautiful music written for the string quartet medium.
