Candlelight Yuletude

Yuletide carols
If you have never attended a San Francisco Bach Choir holiday concert, you are missing out on a heart-warming affair. The 70-voice chorus is among the oldest and most distinguished community choruses in the Bay Area. The holiday concert is a winning blend of traditional carols along with majestic works from early German masters Michael Praetorius and Heinrich Schütz. There's nothing quite like sitting in the dark, while choir members surround you by candlelight singing in glorious eight-part harmony. Even the scrooges among us have been known to shed a tear or two of joy.
