The San Francisco Lyric Chorus invites singers to join us for our Summer 2019 Season. We will sing Johannes Brahms’ incomparable Requiem, one of the most beloved of all choral works. Brahms by the Bay this Summer, performed in the magnificent acoustics of historic Trinity Church, open again for performances after nine years.
We invite you to join us in experiencing this incredible musical reflection on life, death, and humanity.
We have openings in all parts—sopranos, altos, tenors, basses. All are welcome.
Rehearsals and auditions begin Monday, May 20, 2019. Rehearsals are on Mondays, 7:15-9:45 pm, at Trinity+St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, St. Peter’s Hall, 1620 Gough Street, San Francisco (between Bush Street and Austin Alley).
Concert dates are Saturday, August 24, 2019, 7 pm and Sunday, August 25, 2019, 5 pm at Trinity+St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
