Chora Nova is a 40-60 voice mixed, auditioned chorus that rehearses and performs in Berkeley. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings. The chorus is in its 12th season, and has been conducted by Paul Flight since its inception. Spring 2018 repertoire is Baroque sacred music by Hasse and Zelenka. The spring concert is on May 26 (Memorial Day weekend). The chorus will be accompanied for this concert by a full professional Baroque orchestra and will be joined by professional soloists.
