Join the San Jose Metropolitan Band for an afternoon of crowd-pleasing concert band classics! Our Fairest of the Fair concert will feature classic band music from the Gilded Age through the present. The concert will include Folk Song Suite for Military Band (R. Vaughn Williams), First Suite in Eb for Military Band (Gustav Holst), Children’s March (Percy Grainger), Adoration (Florence Price), Earth Song (Frank Ticheli), Polly Oliver (Thomas Root), and Kentucky - 1800 (Clare Grundman). The concert is on Sunday, February 11th at 3:00pm at the Hammer Theatre, which is located at Paseo de San Antonio and Third Street in downtown San Jose. You don’t want to miss this festive concert!
