Brahms German Requiem and more – Join SF Bach Choir this fall!

Tenors and basses are especially encouraged to audition! (Limited space for sopranos and altos.)

The San Francisco Bach Choir – Magen Solomon, Artistic Director – offers dedicated singers the opportunity to study and perform both Early Music and the diverse repertoire of great works from other eras and genres. We use historically informed performance practice, and perform with world-class professional instrumentalists and soloists, both period and modern.

Join One of the Bay Area’s Premier Chamber Choirs

Consider joining a happy, innovative, 20-voice chamber choir that excels in eclectic programming and exciting and refined performances of (mostly) a cappella repertoire.  Under the direction of Magen Solomon, San Francisco Choral Artists (SFCA) are a Bay Area chamber choir with a mission to foster new American choral music and to present eclectic, imaginative programs consisting of both new works and repertoire spanning 600 years in performances of uncompromisingly high quality.

Call for singers: The Old World Carolers holiday season

The Old World Carolers sings for benefits of our choice for an authentic holiday spirit--we may include homeless shelters, environment protection, medical emergency help for the needy, or other causes. Candidates for this year's repertoire include Allon, gay bergeres (old French), Candlemas Eve, Come, Mad Boys, Be Glad, Boys, Fum, fum, fum, Green Grow’th the Holly, Panis angelicus, Hacia Belén, Past Three a Clock, Sankta Lucia (in Swedish), Ya viene la vieja (Spanish), and more. We always add a few standards for singalongs.

Voices of Silicon Valley Auditions

Voices of Silicon Valley, an adventurous and exciting chamber chorus in Silicon Valley, is inviting new singers to audition. Described by the San Francisco Classical Voice as '...this ensemble boasts not only great mission but also great vocal talent", VOSV has been at the forefront of innovation in the choral/vocal field. This fall, we will be singing arrangements of songs by Pentatonix, King's Singers and a new work by composer Monica Houghton, commissioned by VOSV, dedicated to the struggles of undocumented families in California.
