Eric Kujawsky

 I am a
veteran music teacher in the public schools, with extensive musical
connections throughout the Bay Area. I have played and taught violin,
viola, clarinet and saxophone professionally in orchestras and jazz
bands. I educate the Whole Musician; I instruct in music reading,
instrumental technique and general music appreciation. I will come to
your home (I do not have a studio.)

Youth Orchestras of the Diablo Valley

A suite of successively more advanced orchestral experiences now culminates with the teen level Diablo Regional Youth Orchestra They will perform challenging music and accompany renown guest artists. By invitation only, Orchestra Leadership Ensembles of select advanced DRYO members will participate in a minimum of one rehearsal a month and assist with sectionals and performances.

Rebecca Burrington

Becca Burrington graduated in trombone performance with honors at Oberlin Conservatory, where she received the Conservatory Dean's Talent Award. She also studied at Interlochen Arts Center and received the Governor's Scholar and Outstanding Brass Performance award. Her teachers include Raymond Premru, Per Brevig, and Nicholas Orovich.

My name is Ariane Cap, I am the founder of Step Up music.
I am a bassist and educator. I perform regularly with various bands and I teach bass, piano and group classes at Step Up, I teach at the Academy of Art University San Francisco, and facilitate seminars and band camps throughout the country. Susan Vollmer

I have played professionally for over 30 years in Europe, Mexico and now back in my native Bay Area. I enjoy teaching every level including (brave!) adult beginners.
Pre-pandemic I taught privately in San Francisco and the Peninsula but now through the magic of Zoom or FaceTime I can accept students from pretty much anywhere!

Jason Park

Trumpeter Jason Park performs as a professional freelance musician in
classical orchestras, chamber ensembles, rock groups, musical theater,
and jazz ensembles throughout the Bay area. He is also a soloist and
works with several churches and chamber groups in the area. Jason has
been teaching trumpet for over twenty years and has many successful
students who have gone on to professional careers in music and who have
won competitions and auditions. As a teacher, Jason focuses on basic

Scott Weigum

Born and raised in Michigan, I have been a music lover all of my life. I
started playing trumpet in 5th grade and never looked back. While in
San Francisco working on my Masters degree in trumpet performance I was a
soloist with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra and the Palo Alto
Chamber Orchestra. I love the trumpet and am committed to passing on the
knowledge and helping students find success in music.

Nick Burdick

Nick Burdick is a professional Singer, Trumpet player, and Conductor. He has sung with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, American Bach Soloists, the Luther College Nordic Choir, and the Monteverdi Consort. As a trumpet player, he has played for the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, Saratoga Symphony, Mill Valley Philharmonic, and Musica Nova. His conducting credits include the Northern Arizona Youth Orchestra, NAU Wind Ensemble, NAU Collegiate Band and NAU Symphony Orchestra. He is currently studying voice with Karen Clark.

Brenda Schuman-Post

Brenda is internationally recognized for her oboe, english horn and oboe d’amore teaching skills, and remains as devoted to total beginners as she is to advanced players. Every lesson is fun! She’s taught master classes throughout the United States and worldwide and has built both her teaching and playing careers on versatility, making the oboe and its music accessible to almost any audience.
