A suite of successively more advanced orchestral experiences now culminates with the teen level Diablo Regional Youth Orchestra They will perform challenging music and accompany renown guest artists. By invitation only, Orchestra Leadership Ensembles of select advanced DRYO members will participate in a minimum of one rehearsal a month and assist with sectionals and performances. These teen leaders will play in chamber music groups from 4-5:30pm, Saturdays, Members of the Young Performers Orchestra will sharpen orchestral playing skills while enjoying camaraderie, teamwork and ensemble experience working toward musical excellence. Auditions for chair placement will be in October. Rehearsals are held at Foothill Middle School, Walnut Creek. Concerts are Dec 13 and May 29 at Shadelands.
