Stanford students from the music and the drama departments have teamed up on this Mozartian mashup, assisted by an orchestra of talented musicians from a combination of departments like neurosciences and physics, Italian and engineering! The plot has cleverly hung some of Mozart's most beautiful and accessible arias on the theme of the Seven Deadly Sins. Selections from The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, La Clemenza di Tito, Idomeneo and more. With a colorful visual backdrop of sets, and costumes by Ting Lin (an environmental engineering major), this hour-long production is a great family outing and introduction to the operatic world W.A. Mozart.
